1. I always tell Joshua that he feels like a disciple that actually laughed, walked and taught alongside Jesus in Jerusalem long ago. I met Joshua weeks before he was actually baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but he already carried that disciple vibe. It's just who he is. I was lucky enough to meet Sarah the same day. And Sarah, well Sarah Rachel, as her middle name connotes, feels like Rachel in the Old Testament, kind, loyal, humble and wise.

Two very good, peace-giving, hopeful, easy-going, committed and kind people found each other. All of us that know them have watched a magical union in their relationship right before our eyes. As Bishop said in their ceremony, one plus one definitely makes much more than two when two people like Joshua and Sarah join their lives together, and they just shouldn't be apart as they head toward being sealed in the temple once Joshua has been a member for one year. Their ceremony was a beautiful celebration. We all love you so much!

  2. The Kimball House at "This Is The Place" Heritage Park was a charming spot for Kirsten and Griffin's ceremony, and then transformed perfectly into a beautiful room for dinner, dancing, tossing the bouquet and garter, and cutting the cake. It's really important to me to try and capture everyone that attends and, as you can see, everyone that came brought tons of love. This was a true celebration. Thanks for letting us share in this most important day of your lives, Kirsten & Griffin!

  3. So so cool to watch the difference of Kirsten photographed solo versus adding Griffin to the mix! She became so playful, reacting to Griffin's personality. These two have such fun chemistry, such obvious adoration and depth tempered with tons of silliness. And they pretty much forgot about the camera when they were together.

When we stepped outside, just after these two tied the knot, a rabbit ran across their path and Griff spotted two deer directly in front of them. Rabbits symbolize abundance, warmth and fertility, and it is mating season for deer in Utah's mountains. Also, in Buddhism, deer symbolize initiation, new beginnings, and "a sacred introduction into a new level of spiritual understanding." Here's to new beginnings for two pretty wonderful people!

  4. Kirsten and Griffin surrounded by loved ones. This was a fun, wintery photo shoot of the wedding party with stark whites and muted color in the background. Even though it was very, very chilly, we still had lots of laughs.

  5. So neat to witness Kirsten and Griffin commit their lives and hearts to each other. Such a beautiful ceremony with heartfelt vows and words of wisdom from a loving bishop. I loved the intimacy of this wedding in every way. I adored the warm reds and golds in contrast with the black and white attire, but then some of these shots were so classy sans color. So I have to show some of both.

  6. Sweetest mother-of-the-bride/maid of honor and bridesmaid/niece helping Kirsten get ready. This dressing room in the Kimball House was my favorite place to photograph all day. That blue, surround, antique sofa, the vanity and full-length mirror, and the drenching light from the windows... I was in heaven!

  7. I had the rare opportunity of helping this gorgeous bride shop for her dress and then got to photograph every step of her special day. Kirsten was an organized and decisive bride while remaining easy going and kind as she planned and prepared. She is a model by profession. Photographing her was enjoyable because she knew how to be present and relaxed with the camera and the photographer. I loved every minute of her special day. Thanks, Kirsten. I love you!

  8. I've had the privilege of photographing this great family twice now. Both times I have been amazed at how much the meld together as a group, yet keep their individuality. They are a beautiful, loving family, super easy and fun to photograph.

  9. Emma is a joy to her family. It is obvious everyone feels more playful and doting of their little sister and caboose daughter. It was a privilege to attend her baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

  10. Kyler & Kaylee were a dream couple to photograph because they forgot about me and just allowed themselves to interact with each other. I have less images of them looking at the camera, but their expressions while looking at each other are tender, genuine, playful and gorgeous. The ease and strength in both of their personalities manifested clearly through the lens.
